1. Translate your strength and personality to the www
Where is your company's strength? Is your strength in optimal service, customized work, personal approach, quality products or all of the above? Then make sure this is highlighted on your website and sell your story to the visitor in the form of storytelling.
By highlighting your identity, you present yourself online as a real brand. Determining that identity can take some searching, because there are many questions to be answered.
We regularly help companies define their brand identity and integrate it into your website. Wondering how this works and if this is a solution for you as well? Get in touch with us.
2. How do people get to your page and how do they move? Act on it.
Look through tools to see how people come to your website, what page they land on and how they move through the website. Once you have this information, you can capitalize on it by optimizing your SEO and usability.
Think carefully about the intention visitors have on your website and what they want to buy.
3. Content: what do your visitors want to see?
Content is king. Think about what your visitors would like to see: what do they need besides good pictures and clear product text? Think for example about the use of video (in the form of a tutorial), blogs or infographics.
Once you know what content you want to deploy, you will also need to think about the channels where you will distribute it. For example, in addition to your website, you can spread it through email or social media.
4. Are you making good use of Google Tools?
Google has great tools to analyze your visitors and advertise your business online. Do you already use them or do you find them difficult?
If you let Monkey Vision Vision create your website, we use the right Google Tools and other tools to map your visitors and put your company on the map.
5. Trending! Use trends in SEO
Keep an eye on trending keywords and capitalize on them. If there is a special time coming up (holidays) or if you notice that people are searching more for special offers, include matching keywords in your texts.
Think about ¨black Friday¨ or ¨summer sale¨.
Are you responding to Google trends?
6. Are there gaps in your customer journey?
If you can map your customer journey, you can also see where there are gaps. Do you see customers quickly leaving a certain page, or starting their purchase but leaving again at the order form? Then there are gaps in your customer journey. Research where it goes wrong and fix it immediately. Perhaps a personalized tone is needed, better shipping options, a more comprehensive product detail page, etc. This is critical to your conversion, so research it well!
Also make sure the customer journey is clear and transparent and don't surprise your customers too late with defining information (such as additional costs). Want to know how to put this in the best possible way and with a positive tone on your website? If you have a website designed by our web design agency, we will think about this with you.
7. Personal service is also possible online
Do you find it difficult to translate your personal service online? It is possible! Address your customers personally, provide an accessible web service or make it possible for customers to create a personal account.

8. Social and the right platforms
Make sure your business and its news are present on the right platforms. Social media such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, for example, are excellent social platforms for spreading various content. Share your new blog, beautiful photo or handy tutorial here and make sure your followers are up-to-date and stay engaged with your business.

9. Optimize your texts
Optimize your texts based on keyword research. Choose relevant keywords with a high search volume and see how you can incorporate these in your content.
Also think about voice search and make sure your texts are optimized for this. This means writing more in conversational form. Search terms are then more often interrogative, longer (long-tail) and geographic (local).
10. Set up your Google My Company
We already talked about the various Google Tools you should definitely use to optimize your website and put your business on the map. One tool we want to highlight is Google My Business.
Put up your location, products, opening hours and all important information. When customers search for your company, they will see this information immediately. By the way, satisfied customers can also leave a review here: good for your findability and reliability!

11. Put a FAQ on your site
Do you want to relieve your customer service a bit, relieve the pressure here and help customers with their questions as quickly as possible? Then a FAQ on your website is definitely important. FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions.
On this page you will find questions often asked by customers and the answers to them. If you direct visitors to this page first, there's a good chance they'll find their answer here and your customer service won't get overloaded.

12. Put the user first in text and design
Make sure your website and the texts are really aimed at the visitor. Address him/her as 1 person and tell a story. Make sure your story is understandable and recognizable and that the user really feels addressed. In addition, ensure clarity with your text: show clear headings and buttons, so the user knows what information he can find where.
Speaking of buttons, we can immediately make a nice bridge to design. After all, the user is also central to your design. Keep it clear, minimalistic and user-friendly as much as possible. You want the user to keep his attention and not be distracted too much. Such a user-friendly design is also called a UX web design. A good design should be logical and simple, but combined with your brand identity.
Want to know how to tackle this? Read, for example, our blog on UX design: Indispensable! Do you have a UX web design? Is it already getting too much for you? We think about your UX design and create a website that is user-friendly and exudes your brand identity.
13. Trial and error!
The last of our website tips is perhaps the most important: trial and error. Don't assume that you're going to find the right solutions and they're going to work overnight. It's always a matter of trying it out and seeing what it does. But precisely through this trial and error, you will start to learn what works and what doesn't and you can make your website work optimally for you.
