As a front-end web developer at Monkey Vision , you will build visually appealing websites in collaboration with web designers. You will use HTML, CSS and JavaScript to build the website in WordPress. You make sure the website is responsive and user-friendly.

Are you studying web development, ICT or information science? That is a step in the right direction. You can tick off step 1! Do you want to make a career switch or do you not yet know much about HTML and CSS? Then we recommend taking a course viaCode Academy.
2 | Building experience is key
Get started and challenge yourself! Rebuild your favorite website and make sure the responsive is perfect. One learns by doing 😉
3 | Measure your knowledge and skills
Try to recreate the exact web designs below in pure HTML and CSS. Did you succeed with the easy design? Then try to recreate the medium and difficult web design as well.

'I started as a web developer out of an interest in coding games. To get into the world of coding, I started trying web development on the recommendation of a friend. I started with the basics, but I gained most of my knowledge by building great websites. Of course, this didn't go smoothly right away. The problems I encountered during the building process I had to solve myself. Google is your best friend. Do you really want to dive deep into the matter and learn another coding language besides HTML and CSS? Then I advise you to take a course. You will quickly get caught up in the logic behind the coding.
My tip: make flying hours. Websites are very different from each other. Because of this, you gain a lot of knowledge and get better every day!'

"My passion for web development started quite early. From an early age I was fascinated by big tech companies like PayPal, Microsoft and Apple. My brother was studying development at the time. So the choice to go down this path was quickly made. I love to be creative. I have specialized in HTML, CSS and JS since this involves a lot of design. Now I am busy every day building cool websites based on cool designs.
