Linking your email to the mail application on your phone or to Gmail can be quite a hassle. That's why we explain it clearly for you below, to make it as easy as possible for you! All email addresses that are hosted with us can be linked using the instructions below.

The easiest option to start: Webmail.
If you don't have time or don't feel like linking the email address associated with your new website, you can always log in using the following link:
https://monkeywebmail.nl. The username is your full email address and the password is self-explanatory; This is the password you were sent.
Linking email to your iPhone.
Step 1
On your iPhone, go to "settings." Then click on "Mail". After this, a new screen will open, where it says "Accounts". Click on it. Then scroll down and click on "New account" and then on "Other". Now click on "Add mail account".
Step 2
Now enter your own name, the email address you want to link and the corresponding password. When you have done that, click "Next". At the top of the screen, select IMAP. Now there are two headings on this page called "Server incoming mail" and "Server outgoing mail."
Under "Server incoming mail" enter the following information:
- Host name is mail.domainname.com
- Username is your email address
- Password is the corresponding password.
For "Server outgoing mail," enter exactly the same information. You may have to fill in a Port somewhere. For the "incoming mail" you enter 995, and for the outgoing mail 465. Should you come across the option for using or not using SSL, make sure you tick this option. With this you choose for a secure connection!
It worked!!! Your email address is linked to your iPhone. From now on you can send and receive emails on your iPhone using your own email address.
Link email to your Android device
Step 1
Navigate to your phone's settings and look for "Accounts". Since not all Android phones are exactly the same, it may be called slightly different on your phone. For example, on your phone it may be called "Accounts and Backups" or it may be hidden under another menu item. Once you find this menu, click on it. Now you'll see a list of all the different types of accounts. Scroll all the way down and click on Add Account.
Step 2
In the menu you now see, click on "Email" and then "Other". Then you can enter the email address you want to link, along with the password that goes with it. Make sure you enter the correct password. Then click on "Login". In the screen that opens next, click on IMAP account.
Step 3
Now it's time to fill in some details. As we explained earlier, not all Android devices are the same. So below is a list of the data you need to fill in, but maybe not quite in the right order.
- SMTP server: mail.domainname.com
- IMAP server: mail.domeinnaam.nl
- Email address: [email protected]
- Username: [email protected]
- Password: your password
- Security type: SSL
- Port incoming server: 993
- Port outgoing server: 465
Fill in these details and press login.
You are now done. Your email address is linked to your Android device! From now on you can send and receive emails on your Android device using your own email address.
Connecting e-mail to Gmail
It is important that you have a Google account (Gmail account) and that you are logged into https://gmail.com.
Step 1
At the top right of the page is a small cog icon. This is the button that then takes you to "Settings" or "Settings". Click this button and then click "All Settings" or "See all settings".
Step 2
On the page that now appears, you will see several headings at the top. Click on the heading "Accounts and import." From here, next to the heading "View mail from other accounts" or "Check mail from other accounts", click on "Add an email account" or "add a mail account".
Step 3
Now a new screen will appear where you have to enter an email address. Enter the email address you want to add here and click "Next". In the screen that follows, select "Import email from my other account (POP3)" and press "Next" again. Then fill in the fields as follows:
- Wherever it says 'yourdomain', enter your own domain name, of course.
- The username is the same as your email address and the password is the corresponding password.
- At "Port" select 995.
- Also make sure to check "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving email messages". This ensures that your connection to the mail server is secure.
The rest of the options are optional. When emails from your own domain are forwarded to your Gmail account, they are deleted from your domain 's mail server. If you want a copy of the emails to be kept on your email server you can check the top box.
Step 4
After you have clicked on "Add account" the addition is successful. You now get the option for an additional option. If you also want to be able to send email messages as [email protected], select "Yes" and click "Next Step." In the screen that follows, enter your own name and click "Next step" again.
Step 5
You're almost done! All that's left to do is fill in the following details.
- SMTP server: mail.domainname.com in.
- Username: the relevant email address.
- Password: the corresponding password.
- Poort: 465.
- Finally, select "Secure connection via SSL" and click "Add account".
It worked!!! Your email address is linked to your Gmail account. From now on, you can send and receive emails through Gmail using your own email address.
Connecting e-mail to Outlook
It is important that you have purchased an Outlook.
Step 1
At the top left of the page it says additional. This is the button that then takes you to "Accounts". Click on this button and then click on "+". Then click on "New account...".
Step 2
On the page that now appears, enter your email address. Then click on "IMAP/POP."
Step 3
Now a new screen will appear where you need to enter an email address, then fill in the fields as follows:
- Wherever it says 'yourdomain', enter your own domain name, of course.
- The username is the same as your email address and the password is the corresponding password.
- At "incoming/outgoing e-mail" enter "mail.domainname.nl".
- Under "Incoming Port" select 993.
- At "Outgoing Port" select 465.
- Also make sure to check "Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving email messages". This ensures that your connection to the mail server is secure.
