Development Team Leader

Monkey Vision is the largest WordPress agency in the United States! We design and build unique websites and ecommerce stores for various clients throughout the United States. Within our company there are different teams: branding, marketing and development. For our development team we are looking for a team leader. This team consists of ambitious web developers who build websites in WordPress. Are you looking for a challenging position as Team Leader at a WordPress agency? What you will do as team leader on the development team:

• You will lead the development department which now consists of 11 employees but is growing rapidly.
• You think creatively and critically about how their work and development work processes can be even better.
• You create and maintain an overview of ongoing projects.

• You prioritize and solve problems.
• You make capacity plans and make sure there is not too much or too little work.
• You want yourself and your team to be better than yesterday every day: therefore you are not afraid to get feedback and not afraid to give feedback either. After all, we are a team!

You have:

• Experience in managing a team.
• Good communication skills and patience for your colleagues
• Minimum of 2 years work experience within a similar position.
• Knowledge of the online world.
• Basic knowledge of web development is a plus.
• The drive to constantly perform better and get the most out of the project.
• The ambition to work full-time.
• You get a kick out of training people and make processes more efficient.
• You want to take our company and your development department to the next level
