This week's blog is a little different than usual. Normally every week we write a blog about the latest developments in online marketing and web design. We also like to give tips to help entrepreneurs and companies further on their way in the digital world. In this blog, we have mostly good and great news. Wouter Polman, the founder and owner of Monkey Vision, has been nominated for the T500! What this means and what it means for us, you can read in this blog.
What is the T500?
The T500 was created by The Next Web in partnership with Accenture. The Next Web is a big name in the digital world and is pretty much known to all online marketers. It is a platform where everything about digital marketing and technology comes together. It organizes events, shares the latest developments and is a platform where investors can easily invest in startups. We know Accenture as an international organizational consulting firm, with a focus on tech and digitalization.
The T500 was created by these two organizations to encourage the development of talented individuals working in technology. Ultimately, the nomination for the T500 is an honorable recognition for all that Monkey Vision does and what it stands for.
The advantages of being nominated for T500
On May 9 and 10, the major “TNW Conference” event will take place in Amsterdam. If you’re nominated, you’ll be invited to this event and will have the chance to network with 17,000 other attendees. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in so-called “talent sessions.” During these sessions, you’ll have the chance to sit around a table with leading companies to exchange ideas and insights. Last year, for example, companies like Booking.com and Nike participated.
What does it mean for Monkey Vision Vision?
Although the nomination is mostly personal to Wouter, it also has a positive effect for Monkey Vision as a company. It shows that we are on the right track and that people from outside are looking at what the company does for entrepreneurs. In recent years we have been able to execute numerous cool projects and hear equally cool entrepreneurial stories. For us it is a sign that our work is appreciated by our clients.
