In the previous blog post, we could read about blocking your own IP and the Google URL builder. That was simple, right? In this blog post, we'll go a little further with Google Analytics; read and benefit from the 5 tips for Google Analytics I'm going to give you. Clumsy with Google Analytics? Rest assured, even these tips are still for beginners!
You have had your website design, perhaps at Monkey Vision, and have fully mastered the management of your website. Now you are probably looking for ways to attract more visitors to your website, and soon you read about Google's wonderful tool: Google Analytics! You decide to use this tool.
With a few clicks you receive hard but instructive facts about your website. How are you going to use these facts to get more out of your visitors? Which visitors convert and which visitors don't?
Where are visitors coming from 2.
Google Analytics onderscheid 3 bronnen.
2. How do visitors behave on your page(s)?
I see the landing page of a website as a store window. Will this page draw the visitor further into website or will it put them off again. And when they enter your website where do they go? Do they visit one other page, or several? Do they go straight to the contact page, or do they want more information? All these statistics can be found in Google Analytics. Behavior -> Site content -> All pages. These statistics can be extremely valuable as they give a lot of feedback on how a page is performing. So analyze these statistics well and adjust your pages if necessary.
3. Time on your website
5. Conversion
All nice those tips, but ultimately you want to see results. Your concentrated and time-consuming efforts need to be rewarded. To see if you are being rewarded set the right goals (Conversions -> Goals) and see if your website is doing what it was created to do. Rinse and repeat. Continue to continuously analyze your statistics and adjust your website as needed. Optimizing is not a one-time process but a continuous process. Work your website to perfection and get the most out of your visitors. If you need help with Google Analytics, please contact us.
